Lillie Ann Benefield, 85, went to be with her Lord and her loved ones Friday, October 8, 2010. Services for Lillie Ann will be Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1 pm at the chapel at Lakeview Funeral Home. She was born December 24, 1924 in Oklahoma. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son John and his wife Diane Dercks of Garland, TX. Her grandchildren Kim Lavalle Barron of Benton, LA, Michael Chad Barron of Austin, TX, Paul Jason Barron of Longview, TX, Christine Dercks Gullette of Dallas, TX, David Sean Dercks of Allen,TX, and twelve great-children.
Lillie Ann treasured her family and her dogs. She was a talented sculptor and painter. She was also gifted with the ability to create beautiful needlework and crazy quilts. She had a passion for shopping of all kinds. In fact she may be best remembered as the “Ultimate Shopper.”
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to your favorite animal charity.
