

Louise Buchanan Bryant, 90, of Longview, Texas born November 6, 1934 to Robert and Emma Buchanan, surrounded by her loving family, was Promoted to Glory on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 following a lengthy illness with dementia.
Louise will be remembered for her devotion to the Salvation Army as a Sunday school teacher, YPSM, sunbeam leader, CSM, Corps Cadet Leader and a mighty prayer warrior. Her faith in God directed every aspect of her life. Louise spent many hours preparing a Sunday School Preliminary lesson each week for many years. She wanted all the children to know about Jesus and she led so many into a relationship with God. Throughout her home, you will find many prayer journals and she prayed for her family daily by name and concerns.
As she entered into heaven, she was reunited with her mother and father,her husband, Robert Stanley Bryant, her brother, Jesse Burrows, her twin sister, Lorain Boger, her son, Robert William Bryant, grandson, Robert Douglas Petty and a very special great niece, Mollie Holder.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Patricia Johnson (David) of Waskom, Texas, granddaughter, April Benson (Steve) of Longview Texas, granddaughter, Alissa January ( Dontrell) of Longview, Texas, grandsons, Tyler and Christopher Benson and great granddaughter , Gianna, 2 very special nieces, Sandra Michelle Valenza (Frank) of Longview, Texas and Deborah Stone (Terry) Elizabeth city, North Carolina, and nephew Stephen Reese (Kathy) of Henderson, Texas along with a niece, Darlene McCommon (Robert) and their three children; and nephew, Jeffrey Burrow. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and friend, Charlene Stevens. Other special family include 2 great nephews Logan and Ethan Valenza, great nieces, Shawna Maize and her 5 children, Christina Houlditch and her 2 children and Toni Sawyer and her 2 children and a very special great great great niece, AdaBelle Cooper. There are numerous other family and friends who have been blessed in knowing and sharing the faith with Louise.
The family wishes to thank Accent Care and Kayla and Sabrina for their loving care these past several months.
Services will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at Lakeview Funeral Home with visitation with the family beginning at 10:00 AM or at other times at her residence.
Captain Tamara Robb and Major John Queener will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Salvation Army
