Mrs. Humphrey met her husband Ken as a Junior in High School in Jetmore, Kansas. They were married on January 4, 1954. They traveled the world together several times and lived in Saudi Arabia while Mr. Humphrey was working overseas. Janene enjoyed making wreaths, crafting, and decorating for the seasons. She attended Sunday School at First United Methodist Church of Longview.
Janene was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Harriett Clinge; and daughter, Debra Neubaur.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ken Humphrey; sons, Ken Humphrey and Vern Humphrey and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Laura, Conan, and Ben; and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at The Arabella of Longview on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home.
