Bigger than life and loved by all. She returned that love with such abundance, blessing our lives.

Her hobbies were traveling, R.V.-ing and dancing.

Mary Helen Carroll Lain, born in Navarro County, Texas west of Corsicana on February 9, 1928.The youngest of two daughters of Leon Carroll and Jackie Quay Cunningham Carroll. Moving to Richland, south of Corsicana at a young age, she finished High School in 1944.

Preceding Mary in death were her mother and father, her sister Frances Womack, nephew Mark Reaves, and husbands Tom Howard, R.E. Darby, and Forrest Lain.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory nephew Nike Reeves, great nephew Brandon Reeves, and great great nephew Caden Reeves. Step daughters Faye Lavender and Deannie Booker, and step son Lance Lain of Garland, Texas, and numerous step grandchildren. Many friends are left to cherish her memories. Loved by all, we will miss her so very much!

A memorial service for Mary will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 W. Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604.
