Mendy Frazier Steelman, 42, of White Oak, TX passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at a local hospital. She was born March 1, 1976 in Longview to Larry and Cathy Frazier. She is a member of the Class of 1993 from White Oak High School. Mendy worked for AAON and the City of Longview as their Occupational Safety Inspector. She loved her children, her dogs, Michael Jordan, crafting, and was known for her outgoing personality.
Mendy is survived by her husband: Bobby Steelman of White Oak; daughter: Samantha Castiglione of White Oak; son: Antonio Castiglione of White Oak; stepchildren: Jeff Steelman of White Oak; Jeremiah Steelman of White Oak; mother: Cathy Frazier of White Oak; brother: Larry Frazier and his wife Shawn of White Oak; sisters: Ginger Berry and her husband Kevin of White Oak and Rachel Boudreaux and her husband Billy of Yorktown, VA; stepmother: Lori Frazier of White Oak; stepsisters: Melanie Ware and her husband Craig of White Oak and Melissa Miller and her husband Brad of White Oak; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her father: Larry Frazier and her sister: Mary Jane Frazier.
A time of visitation with Mendy’s family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Lakeview Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604 with Rev. Chad Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
