

Monroe Larry Ingram, Jr., August 11, 1936-December 19, 2011, was born in Marthaville, Louisiana to father Monroe Larry Ingram, Sr and mother Eloise Miller Ingram who preceded him in death, as well as his brother, J.W. Ingram.
He earned a Bachelors degree in music as a percussionist at Louisiana Tech University. He taught as a band director in Missouri, Louisiana, Colorado and Texas. He was a life-long musician and a published composer. He lived a majority of his life in Longview, TX.
He is survived by his children Laurie Ingram Ebarb, a choir teacher in Orange, Tx; Pattie Ingram Woytkewicz, a homemaker and her husband Stephen of Lockhart, Tx; and son, David A. Ingram, a band director in Ennis, Tx. He is survived by 11 grandchildren: Chris and Emily Ebarb; Kelly, Rachel, Nathan, Connor, Logan, Broderic, Evan, Justus and Danae Woytkewicz . He is also survived by sisters Barbara Ferguson of Bossier City, Louisiana and Patricia Baillif and brother-in-law Tommy Baillif of Lake of the Pines, Texas along with several nieces and nephews.
He was a 40 year member of Longview's Mobberly Baptist Church, loyally serving as a member of the Adult Choir and a charter member of its orchestra.
Graveside services under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home will take place at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview, Texas at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 with Pastor Gregg Zackary officiating.
