Ouita Lois Clower

Ouita Burrell Clower, 91, of Lake Devernia, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Clower was born on August 14, 1920 to John Henry and Ruth Amanda Burrell. Mrs. Clower graduated from Troup High School in 1940. On January 30, 1941, she married Ervin Clower in Odessa, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and generous grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Ervin; Daughter-Lynda Clower and her husband Jim Andree of Gladewater; Daughter: Randi Watson Clower of Huntsville, TX; Son: David Clower and his partner Martin Hart of Allen, TX; Son: Daniel Clower and his wife Nicholette of Gunter, TX; Grandsons: Douglas and Kevin Clower, and Ryan Andree; Granddaughters: Melissa Clower, Suzanne Andree, Ashley Preischel, Hannah Preischel; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redding Cemetery Restoration Fund at Texas Bank and Trust.
