She attended and graduated from East Mountain Schools. She also attended BMI School of Business where she met the love of life Bobby Ray Craig. She and Bobby married on July 21,1950, and together they had three children: daughter, Linda Jamison and her husband Charles from Whitesboro, TX, Connie Dorman and her husband Steve from Longview, TX, James Craig and his wife Kathy from Plano TX; seven amazing grandchildren: Kelli Sellers and her husband Mark from Pea Ridge Arkansas, Emily Guthrie from Carrollton TX, Adam Jamison and his wife Rachel from Paris France, Linsey Loftis and her husband Chris from Gladewater TX, Will Jamison from Dallas TX, Liz Schlener and her husband Ben from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Paige Craig from New York, NY; twelve great grandchildren: Madison, Connor, Callie, Garrett, Reagan, Sadie, Adam, Grayson, Cason, Quillin, Zoe and Holden; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Patsy loved all of her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Maxine Cain and Blanche Covington and her precious husband Bobby Craig.
She worked for lawyers in Longview for many years and then started to work for Longview High School to be the secretary for the counselors. She also was the secretary to the pastor at Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
Patsy and her late husband Bob were members of Mobberly Baptist Church and members of the Prime Time Bunch.
A service honoring her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Parlor of Mobberly Baptist Church, Loop 281, Longview,Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hope Ignited, P. O. Box 772 Whitesboro, TX, 76273 at www.hopeignited.org,
or the Mobberly Baptist Church Building Fund.
