LONGVIEW - Graveside services for Patricia Anne Franklin, 71, of Longview, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Patricia was born January 3, 1940, in Washington, D.C., to William Aubrey and Katie Brown Prince, and passed away April 10, 2011, in Longview. Mrs. Franklin loved to read, and garden, and was a member of the ASPCA, but most of all, she loved being surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Byron Suddeth; and a sister, Virginia "Ginny" Crandell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Joel Franklin; daughter, Suzy Suddeth; son, Jeff Suddeth; grandsons, Jeff Stuart Suddeth, Michael Suddeth, D. J. Smelley and Taylor Smelley; sister, Pamela Johnson; brother-in-law, Jack Crandell; and dear friend, Connie Ward; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
In lieu of the usual floral remembrances, the family request contributions are made to the House of Hope Women's shelter.
