Paul Commins

Paul graduated from Henderson High School in 1961.

Paul served in the Army as a Military Policeman. He married Janis Faye Langham in 1966 and the couple had two children. After the death of Jan in 2005, he married Mary Butler Templeton in

2007.

He worked in the Rolling Mill at Lone Star Steel for more than 40 years. In his spare time. Paul enjoyed building things, working at his church, cutting up with friends and family, genealogy, taking care of his yard, his monthly lunch crew meetups with his high school and spending time with his grand and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Janis Commins, his parents, his brothers, James Commins, Lynn Commins and sister Cricket Robinson.

He is survived by his wife Mary, his daughters Teri Commins Francis and Brian Francis of Gilmer, Tx, Paula Commins Hodge and Brian Hodge of Calvert, Tx, stepdaughter Chisti Weeks of Longview, Tx, and Lance Francis and Christy of Gilmer Tx, grandchildren Justin Francis and Stephanie of Big Sandy Tx, Rian Hodge and Kati of Round Rock, Tx, Jacob Francis and Steeley of Gilmer, Tx, Jordan Francis and Annabel of Gilmer, Tx, Morgan Hodge and

Christopher Oldham of Calvert, Tx, great grandchildren Brandan, Henley, Walker, Braden and Kaci. Also, Mary Jane, Riley, Aaron, Kyndel and Mackenzie, his siblings Janet Barnes, Amanda

Haynes, Darrell Commins and Becky Ross and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial held on August 1st, 2026 at 1 pm at Abundant Life Church in

Gladewater, Tx
