Mrs. Van Cleve was unwavering in her faith. She had been in countless Bible studies, church groups and volunteer positions. No matter where she lived she always found a church home. An avid seamstress, her quilts were beauties to behold.
Mrs. Van Cleve was born Paula Jane Walker, in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Henry Beecher and Irma Walker on April 29, 1930. She was a long time resident of Longview, Texas before moving to the Dallas area to be near family and finally Brookshire, Texas.
Mrs. Van Cleve was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Frank Van Cleve, her parents, and two brothers, Henry and Billy Walker. She leaves behind her 5 children, Donna, Karen, Teresa, Robin and Eric and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, 6 sisters and 2 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Katy Hermann Memorial Hospital for their care during her time at the end.
Visitation will be held 1:00 pm Friday, September 15, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 W. Harrison Rd, Longview, Texas with the services at 2:00 pm immediately following.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Highway 80 Missions, Longview, Texas.
