Ruth Elaine Criddle Burandt

Funeral services for Ruth Elaine Burandt, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Mrs. Burandt was born December 27, 1940 in Vardman, Mississippi, to Ellis and Flora Bailey Criddle, and passed away February 2, 2017.

Ruth lived a full, rich and vibrant life full of love for all she met. She was very talented. From working a t Stroh’s to being an exercise instructor, she never backed down from a challenge, and there was nothing that she could not accomplish when she set her mind to is. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jan Burandt, and a sister Gail Criddle.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sister-in-law, Donna Mullins and husband Michael, Charie Pringle and husband Mark, Millee Allen and husband Steve, as well as other loving family members, Darla Criddle, Wesley Criddle, Carren Criddle, Rhett Criddle, Ceri Courson, Raymond Lindley, Bethany Zimmerman, Steven Christakos, Sara Phillips, Alissa Courson, Baylor Lindley, and Liam Phillips. Ruth also leaves a very special group of people that were more like family than special friends, Michael Palmer, Gerald Boyum, Ben Waller and family, Judy Cameron, and Frank and Raven Benson, and Matt, Rachel and Jack Wyatt. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the service.
