A Mass of Christian Burial for Sebastian C. Cerda will be said at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with interment services to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m., Sunday, December 21, 2014 and from 5-9 p.m., Monday, December 22, 2014 at Lakeview Funeral Home. Mr. Cerda was born February 20, 1939 in Mexico and passed away December 18, 2014 in Longview, Texas. He was a rancher and enjoyed raising all kinds of animals. Mr. Cerda is preceded in death by his father, Cirio Cerda and brothers, Mariano and Pablo. He is survived by his mother, Torivia Contreras; his wife, Cayetana Alvarez Cerda; children, Guadencio, Abel, Antonio, Javier, Jesus, Jose, Teresa, Maria Dolores, Agustina, Martha, Lorena, and Norma; sisters, Anastasia, Paz, Nieves, Femia, and Simona; and by brothers; Juan, Pedro, Persilliano, Adolfo, and Emetcrio; grandchildren, Edgar, Guadenico, Jr., Elvis, Diana, Esmeralda, Gricelda, Marcos, Sarai, Rosa, Giselle, Israel, Antonio, Jennifer, Gabriela, Alma, Veronica, Karina, Raquel, Raul, Diana R, Cayetana, Orelia, Marcela, Armando, as well as Twelve great grandchildren.
