Sherry was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a loving and caring woman who was always forgiving. While she was a kind-hearted person, she could be feisty if provoked. Sherry worked in the pro shop of the Longview Country Club. She was an avid golfer and bowler. She also enjoyed travelling, crocheting, and fishing.
Mrs. Skaggs leaves behind a loving husband, Frank; daughter, Angela; son, Frank and his wife Jackie; granddaughters, Wendy, Danielle, and Mackenzie; grandsons, Terry, Dallas, and Dalton; great-granddaughter, Julliana; great-grandson, Zerek; and best friends, Paulette and husband Mike and Maria; and many other relatives and dear friends. She touch everyone’s heart that she met and will truly be missed.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas 75604. A funeral service will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Skaggs, Dallas Skaggs, Terry Houck, Jimmy Brown, Spencer Gregory, Joey McDonald, and David Barrow.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a local veteran’s charity.
