Terry L. Watson

Terry L. Watson, 68, of Longview, TX passed away on November 21, 2012 at his residence at Lake Cherokee. Mr. Watson was born on November 2, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas to Edwin Ray and Reba Leona Watson. He married Cecilia G. Packard on August 11, 1972 in Hereford, TX. Terry enjoyed working with his hands. Whether it was being a mechanic or working with wood or his latest hobby- restoring antique engines and tractors, he loved tinkering with things and getting them working again. There was also a special time of the day when you didn’t find him in the shop, he would be in front of the tv watching Judge Judy.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years: Cecilia of Lake Cherokee, Sons: Darren Carver and his wife Lori of Hereford, TX, Michael Carver and his wife Charlotte of Kilgore, TX; a number of grandchildren; sisters: Connie Urbanczyk and her husband Connie of Hereford, and Shannon Hagar and her husband Ken of Hereford; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with Connie Urbanczyk officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
