Thomas Hugh Bright

Mr Bright was born December 19, 1937 in Marshall, Texas to Thomas Dee and Rinza Viola Bright. Thomas, a long time resident of Longview Texas, graduated from Marshall High School 1956. He served our country in The United States Army, and served one tour in Germany.

He retired from Texas Eastman Chemical Plant after 25 years. He also served with the Harrison County Sheriff Reserve for 21 years holding the position as Captain. He attended Valley View Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and was described as a friend to all.

Mr Thomas Bright was preceded in Death by his parents and his in-laws. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years Jackie Bright of Longview Texas: Daughters, Jeanne McGee and husband Richard of Round Rock Texas, Nancy Lake and husband Dan of Longview Texas, Tommie Graham husband Ricky of Longview, Texas, granddaughter Jennifer Paige of Longview, Texas, great granddaughter Raegan Brooke of Longview, Texas and sister De Anna Nail and husband Rusty of Grapevine Texas and host of other family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Thomas was an honorable Soldier, Husband, Father, PaPaw and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The Bright family would like to give special thanks to Treviso and Pallicare Staff who took great care of him in the final days of his life.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday June 25, 2025 in the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home 5000W Harrison Rd Longview, Texas 75604

A graveside service will be held at 10AM Thursday June 26,2025 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens 5000 W Harrison Rd Longview, Texas 75604
