Toby Paul Haydel

Toby was raised in Price, Texas, and graduated from Carlisle High School in 1980. He went on to build a long and steady career with Eastman Chemical Company, where he worked for 37 years as a Supervisor over Building 55.

In his free time, Toby enjoyed going to the beach, riding four-wheelers, fishing, hunting, cooking his world-famous Tob-Beans, watching movies, and spending time with his family.

He will be remembered as the kind of man that would lend a hand at the drop of a hat, and stubborn enough not to ask for the same in return. He dedicated himself to his profession and his family, and was loved by all who knew him.

Toby was preceded in death by his father, Emile Paul Haydel; his mother, Brenda Sue Bolt Haydel; his sister, Paula Donna Woodall; his brother, Gabriel Emile Haydel; and his nephews, Patrick Hunter Woodall and Richard Paul Woodall.

He is survived by his children, Jared Haydel, Trent Haydel, Taylor Haydel, and Victoria Haydel, as well as his grandchildren, Trinity Haydel and Tyson Haydel.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, TX 75604, US, on May 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
