Viola "Vicki" Lynn Sprouse Griffin

Services for Viola Lynn “Vicki” Sprouse Griffin, 55, of Hallsville, TX will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Hallsville, TX with Rev. Ottis Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview, TX.

Mrs. Griffin was born on May 2, 1956 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She graduated from Neederland High School and went on to get her LVN degree. She married Lawrence Griffin in Marshall, TX. They had one son-Timothy Lawrence Griffin of Longview, TX; and one daughter-Holli Griffin also of Longview; five grandchildren: Austin Michael Griffin, Tyler Lawrence Griffin, Mason Ross Griffin, Trinyti Celeste Griffin Blair, and Asia Brianne Self. She is also survived by sisters-Tina Annette Goff of Longview, Jackie Maxwell of Longview, Shirley Sprouse of Beaumont, and Jimmie Moss and her husband Jimmy of Baytown. She has one brother, Bill; a nephew-Dennis Sprouse and niece Toya Richard. She was preceeded in death by her parents, sister-Debra Jean Griffin.

Mrs. Griffin attended Pine Forest Baptist Church, and worked as a teacher for Hallsville Day Care Center. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, taking care of her grandchildren, caring for her plants and fishing.
