Wanda Doss Farmer

Ms. Farmer was born on July 15, 1940 in Kilgore, TX to Leonard and Blanche Doss. She attended school at Kilgore and graduated from Kilgore High School in 1958. She was an avid reader and loved anything to do with her grandbabies. She retired as a supervisor from Miller Hat Manufacturing after 13 years of service. She married Eldred Farmer in 1982, and he preceeded her in death in 1992.

She is survived by- Son and daughter-in-law: Logan and Donna Ashby of White Oak, TX; Daughters and sons-in-law: Denise Baublet and husband Mark of Nacogdoches, TX; Kelly Hays and husband Stephen of San Augustine, TX; Grandchildren: Jesse Ashby of Longview, TX; Megan Ashby of Columbus, Ohio; Luke Baublet and his wife Amanda of Lewisville, TX; Miriam Baublet of Arlington, TX; Rebecca Baublet of Nacogdoches, TX; Leslie Hinton and her husband Jason of San Augustine, TX; Three Great Grandchildren: Jaden Baublet of Nacogdoches, TX; Harley Hinton of San Augustine, TX; and Laken Hinton of San Augustine, TX; Brothers-Larry Doss and his wife Kathy of Dallas, TX; Herschel Doss and his wife Betty of Mobile, AL; Sisters: Norma Jean Wilkinson and her husband Vernon of Longview, TX; Carolyn Kerns of Gladewater, TX; Sisters-in-law: Joan Doss and Janice Doss, and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Three Brothers-Leonard Doss and his wife Billy Jean; Burl Doss; Earl Doss; Two Sisters: Reba Danvers and her husband Claude; Dorothy Robinson and her husband J.W.; and Brother-In-Law: Kenneth Kerns.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview, TX with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Rev. Crispin Bradsher officiating. Pallbearers will be: Logan Ashby, Mark Baublet, Stephen Hays, Jesse Ashby, Luke Baublet, and Jason Hinton. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 22, 2012 from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
