Memorial Services for William Frank Mayfield will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Lakeview Funeral Home.
William Frank Mayfield was born to H.R. and Mary Ann Mayfield in 1951. A lifelong resident of Longview, he graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1969. Billy loved good music and cold Budweiser. He was always quick with a joke and a laugh. He was a colorful storyteller and a huge flirt. He enjoyed good food, great company, and NASCAR. He was a champion dominos player and handsome to boot. He spent his life as a free spirit, working in a variety of fields, making lifelong friends everywhere he went, and left a few broken hearts along the way.
In death he was reunited with his son Kyle and father Rex. He leaves behind his mother, Mary Ann, and his wonderful daughters Robin and Misty, his granddaughter Liliana, grandsons Hayden ,Trevor, Cash, Max and Rex, his brothers Roy and James David, his faithful companion cat Rocket, his lifelong friend Janie, and countless loved ones and friends.
