Winnie Maurine Ford Bonham

Funeral services for Winnie Maurine Ford Bonham will be held, at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Lakeview Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bonham was born November 24, 1933 in Sidney, Arkansas to Ado Ford and Cuba Lanora Hamm, and passed away May 30, 2016 in Longview, Texas. She married Harley Ray Bonham on July 10, 1953. They were married over fifty years. They were members of the New Beginnings Baptist Church. They moved to Longview in January 1966 from Granada Hills, California. Mrs. Bonham had lived at Buckner Retirement home for the last four years where they took excellent care of her.

Mrs. Bonham is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harley, son Mike. grandson Ryan Harshaw, sisters, Velma Paulson and husband, Clara Cunningham and husband, brothers Paul Ford and wife and Payton Ford. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Pam and Bob Harshaw of Longview, son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Pam Bonham of Keller, daughter and son-in-law Kelley and Phil Melton of Denison. Grandchildren Chris Bonham of Keller, Olivia and Nathan Melton of Denison; sister Anita McGovern and husband of California and sister-in-law Clara Vern Ford of California, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. before the service.

In lieu of the usual floral remembrances the family request donations are made to New Beginnings Baptist Church or Buckner Westminster Place.
