I want to start off by offering my condolences to her family. I can not imagine the pain you are all going through.

 I met Daysi our first year in Chico. She was one of my first friends out there. We bonded because we were both from LA. We grew up so close and didn’t cross paths until college. 

She was shy, a bit awkward, and had the biggest heart imaginable.
 She was always ready to help someone and was hard working. Daysi loved to share and show off her family. Her face would glow whenever she talk specifically about her sister’s kids.

Our last year in Chico was the year we got the closest. We talked not so long ago before I heard about her passing and I am grateful for having all the memories we created. 

She will be dearly miss.

You were my Sutter buddy!!! You always made me laugh and we were always having such a good time. I hope you drift through this world pain free and show all your love all around the world. I’ll see you when I get on the other side save me a seat 

I met Daysi in 2012 in Craig Hall. We stayed at the same dorms and hung out a few times. We weren’t very close and didn’t really stay in touch but followed each other on  Instagram. I will cherish those moments we shared at the dorms and will miss seeing her posts on social media. My thoughts and prayers go out to Daisy’s family and close friends.
