

as Tula, was born in Brooklyn in 1925. She made her home in West Hollywood for the past
thirty-six years, and was a part-time resident of Tehachapi, California, for over three decades.
Edith married Harold Olden in 1950, and he proceeded her in death in 1984. Edith was the former
co-owner and director of The Doheny School, a prestigious pre-school located in West Hollywood.
Edith is survived by her children, Malena Wittman, Lora Hatheway and Sean Olden. Other survivors
include her dearest friend Linda Sebel, sons-in-law Brad Wittman and Roger Hatheway, grandchildren
Star, Amber, Erin, Mark, Samantha and Benjamin, and great-grandchildren Dakota, Zachary, Ryenn
and Casen. Nieces Dany Adams and Melanie Adams Fisher also survive her. She additionally
leaves behind numerous extended family members, friends and former students.
Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 23 at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial
Park and Mortuary, 1218 Glendon Avenue. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made
to The Alzheimers Association.
