With heavy heart I am saddened by this news... I got to know "Uncle Eddie" as we all called him, many, many years ago when his niece married my brother... He was always a kind gentle man with an infectious smile. My fondest memory that I will have always is we all always got quite excited when "Uncle Eddie " came to visit because I would think "oh my the handsome, tanned uncle from Hollywood is coming to town".. He would make you feel that you had known him a lifetime... My deepest and most sincere condolences go out to my nephew Joey and his mom and the rest of the family. R.I.P. "Uncle Eddie" and fly high with the Angels....

Lee and I are devastated by this news. I had the most wonderful, long conversation with Edward on his birthday and am heart-sick that I will not hear his voice again. He sounded so good, the laughter was real and I will remain grateful to have shared that one last conversation filled with love.
We extend our deep sympathies to his family and hope that your memories will comfort you during this sad time.

I am so sad to have lost my Uncle Eddie. When I was a little girl I loved the visits he made to our home. I couldn't wait to hear of all his travels and adventures and dreamed of living in his world. That infectious smile of my handsome Uncle always made me feel loved and put an instant smile on my face and in my heart. Uncle Eddie was my Mom's favorite bother-she always looked forward to his visits and was so proud of him and the work he did with Rod. I will miss him dearly and will forever regret not being closer over the years. He was a good man who was loved by all. With a heavy heart I pray he is with my Mom and all the rest of his siblings and happy to be together again. Love to all my distant family.
