Gloria Pena

Gloria Peña Orozco, entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Born on April 1, 1944 in Tucson, Arizona to Amparo Borquez. Gloria spent much of her life in Los Angeles where she cultivated wonderful family and a life filled with love. She enjoyed a mix of glitz and glamour, dance ,and trips back to her hometown.

She faced her struggle with lung and throat cancer with strength and grace, passing away peacefully at home in the embrace of her family. Gloria possessed a beautiful spirit and truly big heart, cherishing every moment life offered.

Gloria will be deeply missed by her companion, Martin Orozco, and her children Libra, Michael, Melinda, Oscar (son-in-law), Christina, Francisco (son-in-law), and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her sister Mary Pedregon, Debbie (cousin), nineteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, as well as her loyal furbaby, Coco.

She is reunited in peace with her mother, Amparo Borquez, and her ex-husband, Ramiro Peña.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Melinda, Miriam (granddaughter-in-law), Raymond (grandson), Leonor (co mother-in-law), and Martha (stepdaughter) for the selfless care they provided.
