With profound love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Guadalupe "Lupita" Estrada, who entered into life on May 27, 1953, in Jalisco, Mexico, and entered into eternal rest on July 2, 2026, in Los Angeles, California.
Lupita was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, treasured friend, and a woman whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly survived by her beloved children, Abel Garcia, Lilia Preston, and Gabriela Garcia, as well as her four cherished grandchildren and three precious great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her love and wisdom in their hearts.
A gifted artist, Lupita had a remarkable talent for painting, especially creating beautiful portraits of people. She also loved to sing, filling her home and the hearts of those around her with music and joy. Known affectionately as a true fashionista, Lupita never left home without her favorite jewelry and always carried herself with grace, elegance, and confidence.
Lupita found great happiness in traveling back to her beloved hometown in Jalisco, Mexico, where she remained deeply connected to her roots and heritage. She also cherished her time at the El Sereno Senior Center, where she built countless meaningful friendships. Whether she was baking homemade cakes to celebrate birthdays and special occasions, organizing events, or enjoying a lively game of Bingo, Lupita brought warmth, laughter, and generosity wherever she went. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, give of herself, and make others feel welcomed and loved.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. Lupita held a deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe (Virgen de Guadalupe), drawing strength, hope, and comfort from her faith every day. She lived a life centered on love, compassion, and service, always placing her children, grandchildren, and family at the heart of everything she did.
Lupita's beautiful spirit, generous heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she has departed from this earthly life, her legacy of kindness, creativity, faith, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
Forever in our hearts, always in our prayers.
