Hector Gonzalez, age 94, of Los Angeles, California has joined our heavenly angels, Our Grandma Guadalupe and the youngest of his children Jaime, on Thursday March 22, 2018. Hector was born December 24, 1923.
Hector lived a long full life and is survived by 4 Children, 16 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Hector was a hard working, loving, caring, sports loving family man who gave and did all for his growing family. He had a great love for baseball and Marilyn Monroe, and would enjoy receiving gifts of Dodgers or Dodger Blue and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. There are many great memories of family events where Hector would be seen sitting back enjoying and taking part in cracking eggs on each other's heads, laughing, playing games, listening to music or watching the family play baseball.
His love and foundation that he established and built for our family will never be forgotten and in his and Grandma's honor will continue to thrive and flourish.
We would like to extend the utmost gratitude for all the prayers and kind words during this difficult time.
Our hearts are filled with peace as we know that our Dad & Grandpa has been joined with his loved ones at heaven's gate and will continue to watch over us.
Hector Gonzalez Funeral services will be held 11am on Saturday April 7, 2018 at Resurrection Cemetery 966 N.Potrero Grande Drive, Montebello, CA 91770.
