Jose is survived by his hermana Avelina Renteria, his hermana Maria De La Luz Renteria and his hermana Esther Renteria Trinidad.

A misa religiosa for Jose will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Rose Hill, 4522 Browne Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90032. Following the misa religiosa will be a velacion from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Lincoln Heights, 2814 North Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90031.
