Josephine F. Ortiz, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, in Palmdale, California. She was originally from El Paso, Texas, a place she always held close to her heart.
Josephine is survived by her loving children: Celia Sanchez, Ralph Ortiz, and Arturo Ortiz, along with her 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, who brought her endless pride.
A devoted Catholic, praying the rosary daily. Josephine lived her life guided by faith, family, and a joyful spirit. Known for her love of shopping, delicious meals, and an unshakable morning coffee ritual, she embraced each day with enthusiasm and warmth. She had a special talent for knitting, crocheting, and sewing — her handmade gifts were tokens of love that touched many lives. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice!
Josephine had an incredible ability to light up any room. Her presence was a source of strength and happiness for her family, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
