Karyn was a deeply loved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was known for her generosity, grace, quiet strength, sense of humor, and her remarkable ability to make others feel seen, loved, and special.
Born on May 25, 1946, in Santa Monica, California, Karyn built a successful career as a real estate developer and retired in 1988 as Vice President of Security Pacific Bank. She was accomplished, driven, and deeply respected, yet it was the way she cared for others that defined her most.
Karyn found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments—hosting Christmas gatherings, celebrating the accomplishments of those she loved, traveling, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, cherished, and at home in her presence.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Allen; her brother, Phillip Huff; her beloved nieces and nephews; and many extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones who will miss her deeply.
Karyn was preceded in death by her father, Kariel Huff; her mother, Jean Huff; her brother, Richard Huff; and the love of her life, BJ McMorrow.
A private family service will be held on May 30, 2026. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for those who wish to gather in her honor.
Karyn will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, strength, and unwavering love for her family. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
