

Dr. Cheski completed his medical degree, his internship and his residency in Canada from the University of Western Ontario, and came to Los Angeles in 1997 where he obtained a Fellowship in cosmetic plastic surgery.
He was an extraordinarily talented cosmetic surgeon and professional mentor. He pioneered and taught many innovative surgical techniques and is credited with the development of the ground breaking umbilical breast augmentation procedure. Dr. Cheski was named by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in Washington D.C. as one of America’s top surgeons and as one of America’s top plastic surgeons. At the time of his passing Dr. Cheski was president-elect of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
He will be greatly missed by his friends, colleagues, patients and family. He is survived by his father Carl and wife Marilyn Cheski of Oshawa Canada, mother Chris and partner William Peel of London Canada, and his brother Martin, wife Renate and niece Lily all of Vancouver, Canada.
There will be a Memorial Service Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at 5PM at Pierce Brothers Memorial Gardens in Westwood followed by a later service and burial in Oshawa, Canada.
