Richard M Hollcraft

Richard M Hollcraft MD, Dr. Richard M Hollcraft, born to Frank and Virginia Hollcraft, in Portland, OR on March 23, 1938, very peacefully passed away in Gilbert AZ on July 9, 2016. Dr Hollcraft graduated from Portland University, earned his medical degree from Stritch School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago where he met his first wife, Constance Ann Freier, RN. They were married in 1964. From 1965 to 1968, Dr Hollcraft, Captain in the US Army, served in the medical division in Dexheim, Germany. Richard and Constance moved to Pasadena in 1969 where they raised their 4 children, Michael Francis Hollcraft, Ann Cushman, Laura Thomas RN, Sarah Tucker, RN. For 35 years, Dr. Hollcraft, an Internist and Rheumatologist, cared for patients at the Alhambra Medical Clinic and taught medical students, serving the San Gabriel Valley, CA until his retirement in 2007. Constance passed away in 1990. In 1998, Dr. Hollcraft married Karen Willis who had 7 children, Devin Willis (deceased), Phelecia Hatch, Triton Willis, Cami Inouye, Damon Willis, Ethan Willis, Chloe Willis-Patterson. He is survived by Karen, his 4 children, 6 of Karen's children; his sisters, Diana Hollcraft, SNJM, Mary S. Mildenberger, and over 50 grandchildren. A Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church in Portland OR, at 10:00a.m. July 27, 2016. A service and burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA. at 10:30a.m. July 29, 2016, 4201 Whittier Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90023. (Grave site 98, Tier 3, Section G)
