I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing... I am still in shock... you two were my closest friends for years and years! You were my extended family and I will always treasure those fond memories of our trips and time together both here in Los Angeles and all the wonderful time we shared together on cruises and our beautiful stays in Nice and Pertuis!  You two were the love of my life... I am sorry it has been so long for my not getting in touch with you... I still treasure our friendship of the past years so so much! Dear Madame, I am sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing.  What a great team you two made, and what wonderful creations you gave together to the world.  May you be comforted, and may you find little joys in each day.  Love doesn’t stop.
Thank you for teaching and encouraging me when I was young and very diffident.  Being hired by Harper and Row to proofread Parole et Pensée did wonders for my self-confidence.  And I made a lifelong French  friend that year in Provence.  In 2018 his daughter and her family came to stay with my wife and me in California.

Dear Yvone,
I sent you a Christmas card to North beverley Glen that was returned to me. Then I searched on the web how to get in touch with you. Your number had been disconnected.
I am so sad Yvone. After all these years I wanted to hear from you again. I was very worried because of the epidemic.

I read what Dr Kallan said about Wayne and also about you: " you gave more than you received." I  want to tell you how fortunate I was to get to know  you both.  May this message bring you and your family some comfort. I share your pain and I miss you both.

I was shocked to discover Wayne's death...I had just ordered/received a copy of Love in Provence!  I am trying to recover my French! I can still read some and understand French-French, but the Québecois are not so easy to understand! 

You are still in my thoughts so often and I talk about you to everyone I know! You were the light of my life! Especially in learning! I cannot imagine your heartbreak losing Wayne, your soulmate. Wayne loved you endlessly. And it was love through which he affectionately embraced everyone else. Anette, Mika, Tao and I are deeply mournful and share your sorrow. Wayne’s grace and kindness will remain with us forever. You are in our thoughts Yvone.
