Barbara Jean Hunt

Barbara Jean Hunt: Born on February 9, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA, went home to be with her “Heavenly Father” on June 9, 2016 in Lompoc, Ca. Preceded in death by her father, Percy Lee Hunt, mother, Mary Jean Hunt, sisters Donna Nickles and Gail Schekle. Survived by daughters, Deborah Flagg of Lompoc, CA, Pamela Murillo of Redding, CA, Laura Pride of Portland, Oregon, son Brian Antak of Lompoc, CA, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Prior to moving to Lompoc, Mom served her family and community in Redding, CA. where she attended Shasta Bible College, and was a long standing member of Bethel Church. In recent years, she enjoyed traveling in the motor home with her dog “Buddy”, bird watching, playing Pinochle and Scrabble, but mostly studying and teaching the word of God to her family, friends, and neighbors. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life on June 28, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church 412 North B St., Lompoc, CA. with a reception to follow. Graveside service will be held at Los Osos Valley Memorial Cemetery, same day, at 1:30 p.m.
