To the entire Burton family: I'm Dave Pardee (of Sheridan WY), and I was Amorette Page's nephew (my dad Alton Pardee's oldest sister) and thus, Carol's cousin. I'd just like to express my condolences to all of you. I had the opportunity in the late 1950s to visit Phil and Amorette Page in San Luis Obispo, on a trip with my mother Evelyn Pardee. On that same trip, I believe, we went to visit Carol and Tom at their home, and they were very gracious to us as I remember. To Catherine and Phil Robinson: the bittersweet part of this for me is that my Sharon and I resided for some years after 2011 in Lake Mary FL, a stone's throw from Altamonte Springs! I wish I'd known she was in the area and I'd certainly have gone to visit. I bought my digital piano from the Steinway outlet in Altamonte and we had business there all the time. A side note: Amorette and I corresponded by mail during her last few years, and what a nice person she was! Again, I'm so sorry to hear of Carol's passing.
