Darlene Valerine Swain was born on August 23, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI, and passed away peacefully at her home in San Luis Obispo, CA on February 26, 2017. Darlene and her husband Ed Swain were high school sweethearts and had a long and successful marriage of 63 years. Together they had two children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Darlene enjoyed many years of sports car activities. She was a creative person who enjoyed many different types of crafts and was also an artist. She will be missed by her family and many friends throughout the Central Coast. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park on March 11, 2017 at 1:00PM.
