Thanks for sharing the video and tribute--Doree's beautiful smile and spirit shine throughout it all!  Besides her many other talents, Doree was a great writer. It was fun living near her in SLO and encouraging one another to keep writing and creating. Doree will be missed, and my prayers and love go out to all in her family.  Love, Colette Joyce

Dear Jack, Jen, David, Tony, Leslie and Dan--
There are no words that can be said to take the hurt away.   Doree was a beautiful, strong, intelligent lady who always brightened a room with her smile and the love she shared with all.  Doree was a my dearest friend of 61 years.  So many memories from childhood, school and throughout the years that will always be with me and keep a smile on my face remembering Doree.  Even tho we lived miles apart, we still kept in contact sharing stories and laughs from the past.  Doree you are now one of the angels amongst us taking care of us.  You fought a long and courageous battle for many years never losing hope and always had a positive outlook.   We love you and you will truly be missed by all!

Dear Jack and Jenn,

Thinking of you with love and hope that you are buoyed by the love and support of family and friends at this time.   Doree was a  delightful, radiant woman and very strong, facing a tireless foe with you at her side through the years of treatment.  I do believe she is in a better place, with family and friends we will join in the future.  Please take good care of yourselves and each other.   Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
