Margaret is survived by her adult children Clem (Susan) Skiba, Patty (Tom) Phillips, David Skiba, and Mary Cooper, 6 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
In 1953 she was honorably discharged from the Navy as a Photographer’s Mate Airman. One of her proudest achievements while in the Navy was when she participated in making the television documentary “Victory At Sea” as a film assembler and repairer, made prints for distribution, spliced and synced music for the film.
Over the years she worked for the post office and social services in both Michigan and California before finally retiring in the Arroyo Grande area.
She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, enjoyed playing Bunco, going to concerts with friends, and her many-many cocker spaniels.
In 2016 she was diagnosed with dementia and relocated to Hillview Residence where she was lovingly cared for until she passed.
