Ada Elizabeth Winsatt

Ada was born on Wampum Street in Louisville, Kentucky on December 5, 1923, the daughter of Burt Spencer and Mary Brooks. Ada was a homemaker and loved playing Bingo and Uno with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother to multiple generations. She was cherished by everyone she met and was a lovely person.

She is preceded in death by her parents Burt Spencer and Mary Brooks; her husbands, Raymond Barnes and Otto Winsatt, Jr.; one sister, Louise Johnson and two brothers, William "Bill" Spencer and Edward "Dick" Spencer; one grandchild and two great – grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Geraldine Ritchie, Robert Winsatt and Shelia (Dannie) Garrett; sister, Aline Frye; 12 grandchildren, 31 great – grandchildren and 20 great – great – grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery under the tent in front of the Community Mausoleum. Visitation will be held also on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 12:50 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
