Born in Fayetteville, TN to the late Albert W. and Margaret Clark, Albert was a retired Army veteran having served in the Vietnam Conflict, and also a retired TARC bus driver. He was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church and the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Elfriede Recknagel Clark; a son, Richard Johnson; daughter, Christina Clark; siblings Alfred, Alice, Michael, Judy, Mary, Robert, Richard, Debby, and Jimmy Clark; grandchildren Devon Johnson, Richard Clark, and Paul Clark; and great-grandchild Ivory Johnson. He was preceded in death by his brothers John Clark and David Paul Clark.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Friday, September 13th at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday September 14th at Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church, 1030 S Hancock Street, with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at a later date.
