She was a retired employee for Denny's Restaurant.
Mrs. Rentschler is preceded in rest by her husband, Michael Rentschler; a son, Teddy Steier and a granddaughter, Brittney Green.
She is survived by a son, Johnny Steier; three daughters, Tammy Steier, Joanny Steier; and Tina Steier; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 2pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with cremation to follow.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Kosair Charities, Kentucky Humane Society, Wounded Warrior Project or Susan B Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
