She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Watson, sisters, Martha “Dittie’ Goin, Dorothy “Tunie” Rogers and Lillian Hord.
Alberta is survived by her son, Bruce Watson and his wife Debbie, grandchildren, Stacey Brown and husband Tommy, Marsha Self and husband Donnie. Great grand children, Madison and Garrett Brown, Levi and Isaac Self. She is also survived by five nieces.
A funeral service celebrating Alberta’s life will be conducted at 12 noon Friday, January 10, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Friends are invited to attend Alberta’s visitation which will be held from 2-8pm Thursday, January 9, 2014 and after 9am the day of the service.
