Stephens, Aleada C. 87, went to meet her heavenly Father July 29, 2014. Aleada was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Stephens Sr., daughter Gail Bishir and mother Marie Gray. Aleada leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons Fred Stephens Jr. (Betty) and Ralph Stephens (Jean), grandchildren Lisa Tallent (Bruce), Greta Dozer (Chuck), Kelly Kirk, Patrick Kirk and Nicole Stephens and great grandchildren Bailey and Zack. A service honoring the life of Aleada will be held Saturday at 11am in the southern chapel of Arch L. Heady and Sons, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
