Algene Morrison Sheeley, 84 of Louisville KY went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday August 4, 2011. She was a devoted Mother, a co-founder of Life Line Bible Study Association, a previous member of Epworth United Methodist Church and attended the Oasis Ministry at Walnut Street Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Joseph J. Sheeley.
Algene leaves behind to cherish her memory; daughter; Brenda Sheeley, son; Gregory C. Sheeley (Carol), grandchildren; Jamie C. Sheeley and Wesley J. Sheeley, great- grandchild; Christian Wesley Smith. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends. Algene’s family would like to acknowledge Dr. Janice Gagel for her loving care, guidance and friendship.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday August 8, 2011 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. the day of the service at the funeral home.
