Alice was a housewife, and very active in the Homemakers, including serving terms as President of the Gatewood Homemakers and the Jefferson County Homemakers. She was most known for her love and devotion for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to carry on her beutiful memory are her husband of 55 years, Carl; daughters, Paula Pugh (John) and Carla Wallace; grandchildren, Tamara Reif (Ben), Carol Pugh and Nate Wallace (Cindy); her great-grandchildren, Ella Marie Reif, Alice Pugh, Nolan Reif, and Abigail Wallace. Also surviving are a brother, William Paul, and her sister, Doris Goodman.
A service in celebration of Alice's life will be 10 a.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday. There will be a private burial at a later date. The family would like to thank the Nurses at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Alzheimer's Association, Arthtitis Foundation or Immanuel United Church of Christ.
