He joined the Army National Guard and served for eight years, as well as serving as President and member of Fairdale Lions Club, and was also a member of Fairdale Christian Church for many years. He was a hardworking railroad employee for his entire career, working for Modern Industries, Lincoln Industries, and retiring from Progress Rail. He made everyone smile and laugh when he was around, and he touched thousands of hearts. We will forever be grateful for his unconditional love. His most rewarding and selfless job was being a faithful husband, loving dad, happy-spirited poppaw, and compassionate great-poppaw. He led a great life of strong faith, deep love, and pure happiness. He will forever be missed by everyone and his legacy will live on forever.
