She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, where she was involved in the Friendship Club, and a retired secretary for Smiths Furniture and Blue Boar Cafeteria.
Survivors include her children Mike “Terry” Tierney, Barbara Brewer, Kathleen Meredith (Mike), Kevin Tierney (Brenda), and James Tierney (Dawn); 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
