Alvaro Antonio Alvarez, 24, died Friday, June 17, 2016 tragically in a car accident. He was born January 6, 1992 in Los Angeles, California. He was a devoted father and son just starting off on his life working as a Sales Person at Cricket Wireless.
He is survived by his mother, Yanet Alvarez; father, Salomon Barrientos; grandmother, Paula Ortiz; son Cruz Alvarez; siblings, Robert and Laura Barrientos; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services – Southern, 3601 Taylor Blvd, and after 10:00 am Saturday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy. His Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00 am Saturday at St. Rita with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville.
