Alvin Wayne Lucas, Sr. Age, 77, was born on January 7, 1947 in Louisville to the late Oliver and Katherine (Holt) Lucas and passed away on Saturday February 18, 2024. Mr. Lucas was a printer and a Marine Corp veteran. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, The former Carol Helstern Lucas; children, Alvin Lucas, Jr., Tina Williams, Michael Lucas, Kimberly Lucas and Jennifer Burns; a brother, Oliver Lucas, 8-Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral service for Mr. Lucas will be held at 11 am on Tuesday February 27, 2024 in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Burial with military honors will follow in KY Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8 pm at the funeral home.
