

Amelia attended St. Boniface Grade school and Ursuline Academy High School. She was married
in 1957 to Sgt Joseph Stokell, US Army. After marrying, she worked at the Bell Telephone
Company until her family was transferred to Germany and North Carolina for US Army
deployments for several years. She enjoyed bowling, walking, reading and her pets.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Anna Mary and James Robinson, her
brothers, James, Robert and Bill Robinson and her sister Anna Mary Robinson. Amelia is survived
by her sons, Joe and his daughters, Stephanie and Kate, her son Paul and his wife Kim and their
children, son lan, daughters Abbie and Emma, and her son Patrick. She is also survived by her
sister, Mary Joe and Loretta and her brother Paul. She is also survived my many cousins, nieces,
and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Arch L. Heady
at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Ky 40218. A Memorial Service will
be held immediately in the Chapel from 2:00 to 2:15. Internment at Resthaven Memorial Park
Cemetery, will take place immediately following Amelia's services.
